(Chicago, June, 2012)…For the third year in a row, Joe Tilson, co-chair of Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson (MBT), has been named to Lawdragon/Human Resource Executive (HRE) magazine’s list of the nation’s “100 Most Powerful Corporate Employment Lawyers for 2012.”

This annual guide pairs Lawdragon, a Los Angeles-based network for lawyers and clients and HRE in presenting the nation’s leading employment defense lawyers. The attorneys on the list were selected from submissions of more than 5,000 employment and labor lawyers by clients and peers.

A founding partner of MBT, Tilson specializes in labor and employment litigation and counseling. His clients include a number of the nation’s largest public and private employers whom he represents in both employment litigation and traditional labor law. He is nationally known for his expertise in large wage and hour class actions and has represented employers in many of the country’s largest wage and hour disputes.

In addition to being honored by Law Dragon and HRE, Tilson was similarly honored by Best Lawyers as the “2011 Chicago Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year”. He is also one of only four management lawyers to be named to the “Top 100 Illinois SuperLawyers” list by SuperLawyers magazine and is listed in the top tier of Chambers USA “American’s Leading Lawyers for Business”.

Tilson is also a Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers, and has been named to the Best Lawyers in America, the Leading Lawyers Network, Outstanding Lawyers of America, and The International Who’s Who of Management Labor and Employment Lawyers.
